Executive Steering Committee XXIX of Krakatau Steel Group or known as ESC-KSG has implemented a regular meeting on November 10, 2011 was held at Hotel Permata Krakatau Cilegon. ESC-KSG event is always begins with a golf tournament, this event performed at least once of two months and led by the President Director of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk., Fazwar Bujang.
Members of the ESC-KSG are all subsidiaries of group KS company, it is a way for internal consolidation of Krakatau Steel and Group which holds the latest info from and for their members, as well as a forum for reporting progress to harmonize each of the subsidiaries incorporated inside.
In the implementation of ESC-KSG meetings, besides guidance from the President Director of PTKS and presentations from PTKBS, the forum also scheduled several presentations and information from other government institutions that may be required by the members, including the presentation of the Persatuan Donor Darah Indonesia (PDDI), Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University and also Export Insurance Indonesia (ASEI).
Zamhari Hamid as President Director of PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS), which is one members of ESC-KSG as the host give a presentation about the development of the Port Cigading and new facilities owned that is Portal Harbour Crane (PHC).
ESC
Associated with an increased facility in the Port of Cigading that is new PHC facilities, Up Grading the jetty, Talud Development and others, Fazwar reminded that the Facilities have to be socialized immediately to the customer, and confirms to the other members of ESC in order to use the services of the Port of Cigading in import export activities of for the commodity his company. In addition, he also gave approval the KBS in the construction and operation of the jetty 6 (ex. Kubangsari) to supporting activities of KS Posco.
At the end of the meeting, for improve the performance of ESC-KSG, the forum decided to make regenerate the management of the ESC. The results defined that Zamhari Hamid, Director of KBS as Secretary of the ESC-KSG for the time period December 2011 until November 2013.

To establish a harmonious relationship between the Company and the Customer, Marketing Departement of PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS); held a Customer Gathering at Permata Krakatau Hotel in Cilegon, on 28-29 October 2011. The event was held for over two days is divided into two groups. The first day for Shipping Agents and the second day for the owner’s.
In addition to stay in touch, this event also aims to exchange information about the company's development, and to know the complaints / criticisms / suggestions from its customers and partners. A total of 125 participants consisted of shipping agent and the owner’s to attend the event. They were very enthusiastic and welcome, because it is considered very beneficial for each party
J. Suherman as Commercial Director of KBS, give his high appreciation to the shipping agent and the owner’s who have proven their loyalty to the KBS. At the same time J. Suherman describes the expansion and development of KBS existing until 2015. One such development is the addition of 2 units of Portal Harbor Crane (PHC) with a capacity of 30-100 tons.
The event more interesting with a discussion forum. KBS Management are welcome questions, criticisms, and suggestions about the development and service companies from all participants, because all it is an important part in subsequent service improvements.

Cigading International Bulk Terminal Company, better known by CIBT is located in the Port of Cigading - PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS), was inaugurated on September 20, 2011. This inauguration conducted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, represented by the Head of the Port Authority II of Tanjung Priok II; Sahat SH. MH.
Terminals are designed and built specially for the international activities of loading and unloading of bulk products as coal, is the result of cooperation between KBS with a Malaysian company MTD Group.
Company has established in an area of 12 ha and is facilitated with sophisticated equipment is able to accommodate coal as much as 8 million tons / year. In this cooperation KBS gives exclusive rights to the CIBT to build, financing, operate and develop the coal terminal for 32 years starting from 2007.
Head of the Port Authority II of Tanjung Priok Sahat SH. MH., in his speech said "This partnership is an innovation in the business world port, we should be proud of what has been done by KBS in cooperation with the MTD Group, which CIBT is an example for bulk coal terminal in the future".
He also thanked to the investors who have given confidence to do business development in Indonesia, especially in the province of Banten. In addition, He hoped in the future that Port of Cigading which is the deepest port in Indonesia can be backed up to the Port of Tanjung Priok in handling bulk cargo so as to reduce congesti and waiting time that occurs in the Port of Tanjung Priok is already so high.
At the same time, President Director of KBS, Zamhari Hamid; said that CIBT will also be expected to help fulfill the needs of coal for KS-POSCO. Zamhari welcomed and expressed its readiness to be back up to the Port of Tanjung Priok.
Zamhari added, "As a proof of readiness in anticipation of those needs, KBS will bring two units of Portal Harbour Crane (PHC) which will arrive in Cigading on October 16, 2011. An increase in the jetty capacity of 9 million tonnes to 32 million tons per year and provides a closed warehouse that can accommodate dry bulk more than 100,000 tons. The facility attempted to provide a sense of comfort and trust for the customer to perform activities of loading and unloading at the Port of Cigading "he said.

As a form of gratitude to God Almighty, PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS) have the opportunity to provide free health care to the community. Located in KSKP Banten office on July 5, 2011.
Activities that are named Yankesling (Mobile Health Services) is a program undertaken by CSR Partnership Krakatau Steel Company with its subsidiaries (KBS, KDL, KTI, KIEC, KE, KIT, KHI, KW, and KM as a provider of medical services). This activity is a routine activity performed at least once every month with different locations according to ring one of each subsidiary company of Krakatau Steel.
This month, KBS's turn to host to perform Yankesling in his neighborhood. A total of 156 people of all ages managed to get the free health care. Residents who attended the three villages of which consist of Kelurahan Tegal Ratu, Kelurahan Randakari and Kelurahan Kepuh. Illnesses suffered by residents generally are cough, respiratory tract disorders or respiratory infections, and rheumatic or more common among people called Jemper.
Krakatau Bandar Samudera that on this occasion represented by Rachmat Hidayat as Corporate Secretary Manager said that free treatment for the community event is part of corporate responsibility in terms of helping the community healthy. Rachmat added that in addition to free medical, KBS has also conducted a series of other CSR programs to the public for the provision of food packages, sports equipment and instruction with great people and orphans that have been conducted during the months of June-July.
Apart from Krakatau Steel Group, also supported the event for free treatment is the Police Sector Port Area, or better known KSKP Banten in July was carrying out the Bhayangkara 65th year anniversary.
